Some Birch feeding Eriocraniidae
A look at our garden Birches produced a number of Eriocraniidae mines. I took a few for closer examination. That produced two species, Eriocrania sangii and Eriocrania semipurpurella. I am going to attempt to breed E. sangii, but it is notoriously hard to do so.
