Hysterophora maculosana
After many failed attempts at finding a Hysterophora maculosana in a local bluebell woodland, it was a pleasant surprise to come across one quite by accident on Pepperdon Down on Dartmoor!

Netted the Nationally Scarce B Ruddy Carpet on a local walk today. Also seen was my first Alabonia geoffrella (aka, Geoff) of the year, a common but stunning moth!
